Oh wow, over 3 years in the making and I can finally say that I have a solid version!
Now, first of all. This alphabet is very open to changes because of it's nature.
The goal is to make an alphabet that gives a hint how to pronounce each character.
So here are the main things to know for this to work:
- It depicts a mouth, left side is the back of the mouth and the right side is the front.
- Short horizontal lines are to show air flow.
- Short vertical lines are to show a stop or a sharp start of the air flow.
- Circles indicate where in the mouth the pronunciation is.
As a said, it is more of a hint then a full tutorial on how to make each sound.
If you have any suggestions, I'm more then happy to listen to them.
